Ed Danberry & Ron DeLuciaEd Danberry and Ron DeLucia have been partners for over two decades, starting with the formation of Group One Investments, LLC in 1998. Since then, they have built and run many successful businesses together, with a long track record for giving back and creating opportunities for others. With operations in California, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Texas, Ed and Ron presently employ over 700 people across the country, including many veterans.
Both our founders have a long history of supporting our troops, first responders, and other heroes in our communities. In 2012, Ed and Ron formed their own charity, Civic Duty Partners, Inc in order to support many organizations, causes, and other charities. Both Mr. Danberry and Mr. DeLucia have a long history of supporting our troops, first responders, and other heroes in their communities. In 2017, Ed and Ron ventured into the barbecue business as a way to expand their operations while providing jobs for Veterans. American Heroes Smokehouse BBQ actively seeks to hire combat veterans, honor local and historical heroes, all while supporting community activities.
Ed, who served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, has traced his family's military history. His family has fought in virtually every war since the Revolutionary War, where his ancestors served as members of the NJ 4th Light Dragoons. The Dragoons were General Washington's Eyes, and served as his Calvary. Ed currently serves on the Board of Directos of HEART911 (www.Heart911.org) and Ron was named Man of the Year at Newark International Airport.
